Download Nokia Firmware Files for Flashing With Navifirm

In the last post I had posted the tutorial to flash Nokia Phones with JAF. But many people still dont know from where to get the firmware files, so in this post I am posting the tutorial for downloading the firmware files . :)

1. Download and Install Navifirm software. For running Navifirm you must also install .NET Framework 3.5 or the latest version of it.

2. Double Click on Navirfirm Plus.exe

3. In the server menu Nokia Care Suite should be selected. See the screenshot below


4. In the Products Tab Select your Mobile Model with the correct Type i.e. the RM version. For checking your RM version dial *#0000# from your phone. And select the latest version from the Release Tab.


5. Now In the Variants tab you have to enter a 7 digit CODE, which you will find on the backside of your phone after removing the battery , the CODE will be above the IMEI number.



6. As you can see in the above screenshot I have entered my 7 digit CODE in the Variants tab after selecting the latest version but the Variants tab is empty the results have been hidden that means the latest version is not available for my phone , now we should select a previous version until we get results in the Variants Tab.


7. You can see that I have selected a previous version and I got the result in the Variants Tab, if for your phone you are not getting the result in the previous version then select one more previous version, do this until you get results.

8. Now Select any one of the two results ( both are same so select any one of your choice). And select on both the PPM, Content and Mcu  file type and download the files.


 9. Thats all you have downloaded the firmware files.
